Dr. Sarita Hithe is an orthodontist with over 10 years of experience. After growing up in New Orleans, she received her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of LA and then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland dental school in 1999. Dr. Hithe practiced general dentistry in Maryland and then in Atlanta before practicing orthodontics back home in Louisiana.Dr. Hithe went on to receive her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics in 2007. She now has a successful private practice located in Mid-City New Orleans. Her practice provides a very professional and warm environment utilizing state of the art equipment.
Dr. Hithe was voted as a “top Dentist” in 2015, which was published in the June issue of New Orleans Magazine. This is a special honor because it is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which dentists and specialists throughout New Orleans area cast “votes” on the abilities of other dentists and specialist.
In addition, Dr. Hithe is a member of the American Association of Orthodontist as well as the National Dental Association. She continues to exercise her passionfor education by regularly attending continuing education courses. Her free time is spent with family, real-estate ventures and vacationing.
